These pediatric and adult cannulae feature elongated, one-piece, kink resistant wirewound bodies. Pediatric sizes have beveled tips while the adult sizes have multi-port tips. This construction allows for high flow rates with minimal pressure differential. An introducer along with depth markings assists with positioning of the cannulae. These Bio-Medicus® cannulae are available with Carmeda®* BioActive coating and are designated with a “CB” prefix.

| Carpentier Bi-Caval Femoral Venous Cannulae |

These cannulae have a unique wirewound, kink resistant, two stage design, to drain the heart by meeting the IVC/SVC drainage requirements. This design eliminates the need for two cannulae (one in the IVC and one in the SVC), which occupy a large portion of a very limited space, making these cannulae ideal for use during mitral valve, tricuspid valve, and
ASD heart cases. Depth markings assist with positioning of the cannulae. All cannulae are supplied with a tapered tip dilator and 0.038 in (0.1 cm) x 180 cm guidewire.
